Like Frank Zappa, Boris Lamerand has never wanted to confine himself to one style of music. With "Demain Les Chiens", the composer and violinist presents a trio with a punkish, resolutely electric edge.

The little brother of Les Enfants d'Icare, another of Boris Lamerand's creative ventures, this trio explores a style of music where jazz knows no boundaries with rock or contemporary music, in the tradition of his idols Frank Zappa and Soft Machine. A whole program that presents a post-apocalyptic version of their instruments: a drum kit reconstituted from percussion elements from all over the world, an electrified violin with a shape inspired by a dog's skull and a sound altered by various bass pedals...

Boris Lamerand is a musical explorer. He began playing at the age of five, hearing Igor Stravinsky's Histoire du Soldat. Winner of several prizes, he continued his classical training, working with such great masters as J.-P. Wallez, Régis Pasquier and members of the Ysaye Quartet. At the same time, he has paved the way for a whole series of original musical encounters, ranging from Romanian to Indian music, jazz and free improvisation.

Created in 2012, the #JazzDeDemain slot has given rise to a series of monthly and bimonthly residencies, enabling young artists to experiment on stage, honing a repertoire while presenting it to the public. A promising niche
