Franck Nicolas trumpeter and shell player puts his virtuosity at the service of emotion. Alchemist of sounds, he invented a new style of music in New York in 2002: jazz-ka (mixture of jazz and traditional Guadeloupean drum, the "Ka"). 20 years later, still in an insatiable quest for novelty, he created POP-KA, which brings together: ka, Konk (shells), jazz, spirituality, singing, and popular music. POP-KA is a complex and dancing Antillean music, which aims to be avant-garde. Like a multicolored butterfly, she carries on her wings a message of hope and love for all humanity.
