Monday's Jam - Avishai Cohen Special

Born into a family of artists, François Constantin has been hosting the Monday jam for over 30 years. It is THE unmissable and timeless event where the masters of the genre meet the younger generation for musical jousts in a convivial atmosphere.

Discovered by pianist Chick Corea in the early 90's, Avishai Cohen loves unexpected interlacing and atypical assemblies. He rubbed shoulders with Alicia Keys, Herbie Hancock, Brad Mehldau and Bobby McFerrin. It was in New York City that he anchored and built himself up, in the clubs and on the benches of the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, and especially played with all the "swords" of the local jazzosphere.

A dynamic and creative open jam with a cast that could not be more qualitative! Anthony Jambon has made a name for himself among lovers of teleportation in aerial universes, strong sensations and crazy races. Eclectic bassist, Laurent Salzard has worked with Ed Motta, Emanuel Bex, SlyJohnson or Lulu Gainsbourg, that's to say that his jazz is full of flavors from elsewhere!  Influenced as much by hip hop, as by electro, African music or jazz, Martin Wangermée plays with artists from very different worlds. At the moment he is playing with Sly Johnson, former member of the Saian Supa Crew, Mélissa Laveaux, Bastien Picot or Anthony Jambon.

A concert set followed by two sets of improvised musical encounters where generosity, experience, energy and talent guarantee the unbeatable atmosphere of the Monday night Jam Sessions!
