Monday's Jam Tribute To Bill Evans
hosted by FRANÇOIS CONSTANTIN
Jam
Coming from a family of musicians, François Constantin began classical percussion at the age of 14, then encountered Cuban, Brazilian and African percussion at the age of 16 to devote himself solely to these. An exceptional musician and host of Monday evening jam sessions for almost 30 years, he pays tribute to Bill Evans, the pianist who had the most influence on modern jazz during the 1960s. He was known for his very nuanced touch and the clarity of his content considered very sentimental. He has recorded more than 50 albums as a leader and received five Grammy Awards. Alongside François Constantin, an exceptional cast! Daniel Gassin on the piano and his flamboyant playing.
