At Baiser Salé we have known François Constantin and his jams for thirty years, so suffice to say that he invited the entire French jazz scene to perform alongside him! He was able to make this weekly meeting an internationally known institution. Edith Piaf, Brassens, Jacques Brel, Juliette Greco, France Gall, Barbara... the list is long! Their styles are varied, sometimes diametrically opposed, but they have in common that they belong to French musical heritage. We have seen through them the evolution of the lyrical song, navigating over the years from pop, from ballads to variety. They played with words, disrupted established codes and invented sounds. They have left their mark on French song, it deserves a jam hosted by François Constantin!
