After four sold-out shows at Le duc des Lombards, Judith Owen returns to Paris with her fabulous Gentlemen Callers on December 8th for an exceptional concert. “Come On & Get It”, her latest album, reconnects with the love of jazz that rocked her childhood and pays a vibrant tribute to the liberated Ladies of Jazz and Blues of the 1940s and 1950s. Women, she says, who had the courage to assume and sing about their desire at a time when they were asked to be erased. Judith Owen is accompanied on record and on stage by the best musicians of New Orleans, her adopted city where she has lived for several years. His album was thought of, imagined and recorded there. His group offers her the authentic sound of the city as a backdrop. Judith Owen is a bomb of energy. It stands out, magnificent and powerful! The British singer, pianist and singer-songwriter has published twelve critically acclaimed albums and collaborated with numerous artists such as Cassandra Wilson, K.D Lang and Keb'Mo. Swing, heat, sex, joy and a little melancholy. On December 8th, New Orleans arrived in Paris. Come On & Get It....Judith Owen & Her Gentlemen Callers are back in town!
