Pianist and composer Sylvain Le Ray's music is intense, sensitive and sometimes poetic.

Sylvain continues his exploration of synthesizers, following in the footsteps of his first residency date on October 17, again with Arnaud Bichon, but this time augmented by Matis Regnault on bass in an electric "power-trio". Still influenced by the modern jazz of Tigran Hamasyan and Nik Bärtsch, as well as the latest album by Jason Moran and Marcus Gilmore, he is surrounded by the musicians who will feature on his second quintet album, recorded last July...

Created in 2012, the #JazzDeDemain slot has given rise to a series of monthly and bimonthly residencies, enabling young artists to experiment on stage, honing a repertoire, while presenting it to the public. A promising niche where creativity and emulsion know no bounds. #BeCurious!
