Tifen offers resolutely authentic and moving music, stemming from his mixed roots and his unusual journey. Growing up in a family of Algerian, Russian and Polish origins, she began learning music at the age of 4 with the piano. Very early noticed for her voice, it was quite natural that she turned to lyrical singing, performing as a soloist or in choir, while gradually nurturing a growing taste for pop, soon multiplying experiences until to forays into the world of jazz. It was at the age of twenty that she learned the guitar and began writing her own songs which she played in cafes, while traveling or in the street. His music finds roots in the indie folk of American songwriters, pop and contemporary jazz. Through compositions that are sometimes sunny, sometimes dark, but never sinking into melancholy, her voice captivates with its sweetness and sensitivity. His texts modestly translate the trials he has gone through and the memory of loved ones who left too soon. They deliver his poetic vision of the world and evoke the memory of things gone and the hope of those to come. It all results in songs with captivating and organic atmospheres, between exultant joy and delicacy, through audacious and original music.
