Principles of Joy is the flagship band of Q-Sounds Recording, an independent label with a proud vintage philosophy, founded in Seine-Saint-Denis, the land of Rap and Hip Hop.
Principles of Joy's repertoire is a musical voyage that draws its influences from the richness of Soul and Funk. 

Their innovative approach fuses the irresistible groove of Northern Soul with elements of Deep Soul, creating a retro yet contemporary ambience. The band quickly caught the attention of the French music scene with their incandescent stage performances. Their boundless energy and ability to thrill audiences have made them an essential reference on the contemporary Soul scene. After a debut 45t in the summer of 2018, P.O.J presented their debut album "Strong ain't wrong" in June 2019, which received extensive radio airplay and offered the band the opportunity to play on France Télévision. At the end of 2021, Principles of Joy present a second album, "9-3", which is very well received by the press and takes the band on tour throughout Europe.
