Julia Perminova Trio — ‘Freedom’

Julia has won several international jazz competitions in Spain, Portugal and Romania, and has played with musicians such as the NDR Big Band, Lionel Loueke, Ronie Cuber, Miguel Zenon and others. With her new album Freedom 2023, Julia and her trio want to celebrate man's struggle for freedom.

Since 2019, her trio has been playing a set of compositions inspired by moments in her life. Through her compositions, Julia wants to give hope to people who can't live their lives freely as they wish, especially those living in war and repression.
