Gaëlle & Juan

The duo Gaëlle & Juan come to present the repertoire of their original compositions, in search of aerial impulses and crossed surveys. The rhythmic detours of the pianist Juan Manuel Nieto, who also leads the group Matraka Live, a fusion of Latin and music from Martinique, play with gaps and unisons with the luminous melodies of clarinetist and singer Gaëlle Bagot, at the heart of the musical projects Seksion Maloya, Eyehâ and L'Itération des ondes, explorations at the frontiers of jazz and traditional music from here and elsewhere (Reunion Island, Turkey, Armenia, French dance music, etc.). For this concert, two guests complete the duo : Simon Lannoy, cellist in constant search of sound exploration (hip-hop, song, world music, pop-rock); Oxyjinn, former lyrical singer and today unusual artist and vocal explorer who will create a sinuous and pulsating beatbox.
