Nirek Mokar & His Boogie Messengers Feat. Emilie H

Nirek Mokar is a 21-year-old pianist from Paris. He fell in love with the Boogie Woogie piano when he had the chance to see and hear all the great Boogie-Woogie specialists play at the "Paris Boogie Speakeasy" where his father worked. Fascinated by this music, but also by Blues, Swing and Rock'n'roll, he devoted himself entirely to it.
Accompanied by his Boogies Messengers, tenor saxophonist Claude Braud, French blues guitarist Stan Loubard Pacha, Gael Pétetin on drums and Vincent Talpaert on double bass (we've heard him alongside Moriarty), this is an intergenerational group in which old hands swing, support and showcase the talent of the new French Boogie-Woogie prodigy.
