Flash Pig

After Le plus longtemps possible, released in 2022, which won them a 'Coup de coeur' from the Académie Charles Cros as well as the title of 'Group of the Year' according to the editors of Jazz News and Jazz Magazine, the four musicians of Flash Pig have chosen a story of love and imagination as the main theme of their new album: In the Mood for Love, the masterpiece by director Wong Kar Wai. 


This fiery, masterful new project, the fifth in the quartet's fifteen-year history, gives us a chance to appreciate musicians who have come of age together, capable like few others of expressing complex, nuanced emotions in a jazz idiom. The dialogue with cinema opens up a host of exciting possibilities for our imaginations, taking this invaluable group of French and European jazz musicians even further.
