A baby found on a cruise ship, adopted by the crew, becomes the greatest pianist of his generation... without ever setting foot on the ground, even during the dark hours of the First World War.
This is the story told by the Italian writer Alessandro Baricco in his novel-monologue, Novecento.
This is the story interpreted, with one voice and two hands, by actor Xavier Jacquelin and pianist Franck Avitabile.
A story, funny to tears, which also talks about the role of art and the artist in society.
