Eboni Fondren

Every Sunday and Monday, la Rhumerie brings you together for a jazz evening that revives the tradition of St Germain des prés during the fifties, and offers a selection of rums and West Indian cuisine (surcharge + € 1 per order on concert days).

Eboni Fondren is an American jazz singer from Kansas City. She is the singer of the famous Kansas City Bigband.
Often compared to Nancy Wilson, she was called to represent American vocal jazz at the last G20 summit in India. She has a unique sensual voice tinged with gospel and RnB and an innate sense of swing.

Eboni has performed at numerous international Jazz festivals. Attached to France, she started a group in France with her Parisian jazz friends, the pianist and organist Laurent Marode and the drummer Stéphane Chandelier.
