The SpringBok Quartet is the renewed version of the Bounce Trio project, led by organist and composer Matthieu Marthouret. A new formula initiated after five years of sustained activity: numerous concerts, two albums and an EP recorded. The unusual instrumentation of this ensemble gives pride of place to melody, breath - with the trumpet/saxophone tandem - and groove - with the Hammond organ/drum rhythm section.
