Milt Jackson is an American jazz vibraphonist and one of the great figures of bebop, founding member of the Modern Jazz Quartet.
Milton "Milt" Jackson, also known as "Bags", forged his style by listening to boppers, while remaining close to the spirit of blues and gospel music. He was the first vibraphonist to play in the bebop style.
