"Live in Paris" is the result of three evenings of concerts recorded in February 2023 at the 38Riv Jazz Club, but above all, of the years during which the musicians have come together there.
During these years, their level of confidence grew collectively, and the three musicians began to feel less and less constrained by the form in which they found themselves. Their rhythmic and harmonic relationship became more elastic, but also more solid.
In antithesis to their respective previous studio albums, the trio pushed to explore new "playgrounds" and projected themselves into different, even contradictory musical horizons.
Intense, close listening and attention enabled them to take the time to let ideas develop to their conclusion, without knowing their nature at the outset.
