Irving Acao was born in Cuba. He now travels the international stages which he shares with, among others, Roy Hargrove, Michel Camilo, Danilo Perez, McCoy Tyner, and Giovanni Hidalgo. In 2002, Irving moved to Paris where he quickly found his place in various projects... In 2008, Irving founded the Irving Acao Quartet, the experiences and personalities of these musicians brought together gave birth to innovative music, seeking new sounds in the world of Latin jazz.
