A Birchola — Brazilian Trio

Agathe Francopoulo, Francesco Cosentini and Nils Wekstein, vocals, guitar and percussion respectively, pay tribute to the masters of Brazilian song with a select repertoire that expresses in every nuance the charm and elegance of this music, from bossa nova to popular samba.
It brings together three musicians with singular backgrounds: a percussionist specializing in Afro-Cuban rhythms, a jazz and gypsy guitarist with Italian elegance, and a singer with a lifelong passion for Brazil.
Guided by Agathe's intense, ethereal voice, they interpret the style and language with personal arrangements and a few compositions, moving from the most delicate saudade to the driving rhythms of this land of encounters.
