Riitta Paakki Quartet

Made in Scandinavia is a Paris-based jazz collective made up of five Scandinavian musicians: Norwegian Petter Wettre, Dane Malte Arndal and Swedes Joel Lyssarides, Björn Ingelstam and Viktor Nyberg.

They will be presenting their new album at 38Riv this May 2024 in various formations, from duo to quintet.

You'll find Riitta Paakki, a pianist renowned in Finland and Japan, who in 2016 became the first Finnish pianist to receive a doctorate in jazz.
Petter Wettre, saxophonist with an immense career, twice awarded the Spellemannprisen prize, considered to be Norway's Grammy Awards.
Double bassist Viktor Nyberg, renowned in Europe and across the Atlantic, is rapidly establishing himself as one of the most sought-after bassists in France.
And drummer Malt Arndal, one of the young prodigies on today's jazz scene.
