'Back to Black', the long-awaited new biopic dedicated to Amy Winehouse (1983-2011), highlights an icon of contemporary soul who died too soon, a sultry singer-songwriter, who flirted with tragedy until his last breath, singing about his demons in the same way as Billie Holiday.
Melissa Lesnie, Australian jazz singer with a velvety tone and retro charm, will bring us back to life the sensuality, despair and dark truths of classics such as 'Rehab' and 'You Know I'm No Good', as well as the standards of jazz that Amy sang throughout her career. Because for Amy, 'every bad patch is just a blues song just waiting to be written'. Accompanied by Victor Pitoiset on guitar.
