Yuval Amihai Trio — Varaillon & Charlier

Yuval Amihai is an Israeli jazz guitarist, composer and educator based in New York since 2018. He moved from Israel to Paris in 2005 and quickly became a leading voice on the French jazz scene. He has won several prestigious awards, including the Grand Prix and 1st Composition Prize at the Concours National de Jazz de La Défense, as well as 1st Prize at the Concours Jazz à Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris.

His work has been hailed by critics as "Master of Melody" (Radio France), "Poet of the Guitar" (Duc des Lombards), "Virtuoso of the Guitar" (La Dépêche du Midi), "A Rare Delicacy" (Paris Capitale), "A Little Jewel" (Jazz News Magazine).

In 2022, he released his 4th album as leader, My 90s Summer, on the renowned Fresh Sound Records label. The press said of it -
