Echoes Of

ECHOES OF is one of the biggest funk machines on the French scene today. In 8 years of non-stop gigging, they've built up an incredible reputation between Paris and London, with their Funk & The City residency at Le New Morning and the South London Soul Train Party at the Bussey Building. 

Thanks to their original concept of paying tribute to American funk cities, they make the iconic repertoires of the 70s and 80s from Detroit, Washington, Dayton, Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Minneapolis sound live like no one else. For each city, a repertoire, an aesthetic and a singer who takes command of his city and becomes its ambassador. The group also staged a one-off show, ECHOES OF PRINCE, a veritable funk opera and tribute to The Purple One, which was released as a concert series and an EP of covers and remixes on the Funky French league label.

They have also collaborated with iconic 80s boogie funk artists such as HOWARD JOHNSON and JUNIOR GISCOMBE on their European tours. They're even Echoes Of A New Dawn Orchestra when it comes to accompanying cult acid jazz duo KYOTO JAZZ MASSIVE, for whom they've been the main line-up at clubs and festivals since 2022.
