Inspired by John Coltrane's iconic piece of the same name, the residential project "Countdown" invites you to discover the infinite possibilities offered by each number, from 12 to 1.
During this residency, Speranza will present a series of unique concerts where each number will be celebrated through original compositions and bold musical explorations. Each performance will be an immersion into distinct rhythms, evocative tones, and poetic themes, all inspired by the symbolic and mathematical attributes of numbers.
Speranza will capture this rich and innovative exploration in an upcoming album, composed of 12 new compositions resulting from this residency.
Created in 2012, the #JazzDeDemain slot has given rise to a series of monthly and bimonthly residencies, allowing young artists to experiment on stage, refine a repertoire, and present it to the public. A promising and dynamic slot where creativity and innovation have no limits. #StayCurious!
