The desire to break free from the traditional role of voice and instrument. 

The soft / the raw, the deaf / the sonorous, the wood / the brass, the skin / the metal, the cry / the breath. 

Ancient and more recent instruments come together to echo a common oral tradition that spans centuries and continents. 

An explosive, unexpected journey from forgotten sounds to more contemporary ones. 

United by one constant: improvisation.
