Roda De Paname

A Roda? De Paname? The principle of the roda de samba is that the musicians play Afro-Brazilian samba songs in a circle, surrounded by the audience, who sing along and clap their hands.
What's special about the roda de Paname is that it offers a different take on the French chanson repertoire, mixing classics like "Le Sud" and "Siffler sur la colline" with the rhythms, tunes and instruments of the roda de samba: percussion, 7-string guitar and cavaquinho! We also revisit the great classics of Brazilian music.
The originality of the project lies in its generosity and sharing, as French and Brazilian musicians gather in a circle to sing their respective repertoires.
The concert is half standing/half seated.
