A special jam for the legendary American funk band The Meters, which was founded in New Orleans in 1969. Composed of George Porter Jr. (bass), Art Neville (keyboards), Zigaboo Modeliste (drums) and Leo Nocentelli (guitar), the group is known for its irresistible groove and unique style, which mixes funk, soul and rhythm and blues.
The Meters marked the 70s with iconic titles like "Cissy Strut" and "Look-Ka Py Py", and have influenced many artists in various musical genres. Their distinctive sound, characterized by percussive rhythms and groovy bass lines, made them pioneers of funk and a cult band in music history.
