#Résidence Nathan Mollet Piano Solo

The hours spent on the instrument, getting lost, having fun, "shaping the musical material" with as much patience as wonder have given birth to a range of compositions that he hopes touch the heart.
It is first by drawing inspiration from illustrious jazzmen such as Bill Evans, Keith Jarrett, Hank Jones and the most current Pat Metheny, Avishai Cohen, Ben Wendel, Tigran, Pedro Martins ... that he developed, through his piano practice, his sensitivity and his universe.
As a child, he created short improvisations then increasingly long loops with always the joy of sharing, the desire to surprise the listener and to surprise himself too. The wide range of nuances of the piano allows him to translate a wide palette of emotions with ever more enthusiasm and creativity.
He then very quickly assimilated in this solo project influences that touch more on pop, electronic, folk, and alternative music, ranging from the Beatles, Nick Drake, Radiohead, to Saya Gray, Sampha or Louis Cole. A certain number of guests will intervene on all the concerts (singers, guitarists, double bassists ...) of this residency.

Determined to support emerging artists, our Club offers a series of bimonthly residencies (1 concert every two months) which allows them to propose a creative project and develop it in an environment conducive to creation. Access to the equipment of our room, such as video and audio recordings, lighting and sound work and the provision of the room with a sound engineer once a month during the day.
For the 2024-2025 season we have chosen JULIA RICHARD, singer, bassist, double bassist, composer, author, and NATHAN MOLLET pianist, keyboardist, composer.
