Tribute To Mccoy Tyner

A tribute to McCoy Tyner, the composer and pianist with five Grammy Awards, ‘a giant, an enlightened pianist’, in the words of Jacques Denis in Libération at the time of his death in 2020. After playing in John Coltrane's quartet between 1960 and 1965, he embarked on a brilliant career as a leader and soloist, making an impressive number of recordings. Pianist Olivier Hutman will be playing emblematic pieces from his repertoire, accompanied by Jacques Vidal's band (double bass and musical director) with Eric Barret on saxophone and Julien Charlet on drums.
