Alex Sipiagin "European Quartet"

Of Russian origin, naturalized American, Alex Sipiagin has lived in New York since 1991. He has recorded more than twenty albums for the Criss Cross label. A member of the Mingus Big Band, the Dave Holland Big Band and Sextet, the George Gruntz Concert Jazz Band, he has also toured with the greatest: Michael Brecker, Bob Moses, Elvis Costello, David Sanborn, Eric Clapton and Gonzalo Rubalcaba. This project marks the meeting between an international rhythm section based in France and this formidable musician, to prove, once again, that the language of jazz has no borders.
