Kaminho

Every Sunday and Monday, la Rhumerie brings you together for a jazz evening that revives the tradition of St Germain des prés during the fifties, and offers a selection of rums and West Indian cuisine (surcharge + € 1 per order on concert days).

Kaminho is the meeting of 4 musicians who seek to cross borders in these times when travel is rare. With the groove and the pleasure of playing as a rallying point, freedom is at the center of creation. Through the journey between the different styles and different eras of Brazilian music with the MPB (música popular brasileira) as a rallying point, the group gives all its pleasure of playing and its vital energy of music, freedom and travel. You will be able to hear songs by Djavan, Gilberto Gil, Dominguinhos and many other names of great Brazilian music. Different styles will be proposed (forró, samba-funk, côco etc ...)
