Emotion and musicality. Multi-distinguished trumpeter Airelle Besson - associate artist at the Théâtre - is back with the cream of German jazz, pianist Jonas Burgwinkel and drummer Sebastian Sternal. Since their first Chet Baker project, the trio has been enjoying playing dreamy, invigorating compositions. On stage, their spontaneous improvisations are another source of chemistry. “Let's surprise ourselves”, they declare before each concert. For this evening, the trio is joined by a deaf actress, Clémence Colin, who “narrates” the concert in French sign language. Because beyond the sound, the music gives images to see, feelings to feel.
