#Residency Julia Richard Trio

Franco-Mexican Julia Richard has captivated the jazz scene, drawing inspiration from legends like Whitney Houston, Barbra Streisand, and Ella Fitzgerald. As a singer, double bassist, and composer, Julia Richard embodies a powerful combination of vocal strength and musical inspiration. Adding to her dynamic stage presence is the striking visual contrast between her and the double bass that accompanies her—a sight that never goes unnoticed. Julia writes, composes, and performs songs that create a harmonious bridge between jazz notes and pop melodies. Alongside numerous instrumentalists, she explores a diverse repertoire, ranging from Sting, Stevie Wonder, and Supertramp to Paul Chambers, Thelonious Monk, and her fellow double bassist Esperanza Spalding!

Committed to supporting emerging artists, our Club offers a series of bi-monthly residencies (one concert every two months) that allow them to present and develop a creative project in an environment conducive to artistic growth. This includes access to our venue's equipment, such as video and audio recording, lighting and sound work, and the use of the space with a sound engineer once a month during the day.
