Mahan Mirarab

Mahan Mirarab is an Iranian-Austrian guitarist, composer, arranger, and music producer based in Vienna and Berlin.

He plays the fretless guitar, blending traditional Persian music with the indigenous and multicultural sounds of Iran (Arabic, African, Turkish, Kurdish, etc.) and combining them with jazz, classical, and Western popular music.

On January 16, 2025, at Le Baiser Salé, he will present his new album, accompanied for the first time by Chris Jennings on double bass and John Hadfield on drums, for a unique concert merging sounds from Iranian Orient and jazz standards.
