Sivuca Brasil Project

Severino Dias De Oliveira, nicknamed SIVUCA, was one of Brazil's most brilliant multi-instrumentalists. His instrument of choice was the accordion, but he was equally clever on guitar, piano and percussion.

With this project, Frédéric Viale wishes to pay tribute to one of his heroes. The repertoire includes some of Sivuca's finest compositions, as well as those he loved to play, and compositions by his friends Hermeto, Dominguinhos and Luizao Maia.

A festive music where Brazilian grooves, melodies and rhythms dance with the beautiful harmonies and freedom of jazz.
