Maaleka Trio

The MAALEKA trio is made up of Alex Massemedia on composition and vocals, Thomas Ostrowieki on drums and percussion and Taofik Farah on acoustic guitar. 
Based on Alex's songs, the trio play a minimalist blues that returns to its origins, tinged with soul and ‘Afro’ influences, with simplicity but exacting standards of sound and rhythm. 
The challenge is always to tell stories through these songs, with an original formula that is itself very minimalist, since there is no bass and no keyboard.
