Benjamin Bobenrieth Trio

Every Wednesday and Thursday, Cinq Codet joins forces with Alex Swing Events to offer you varied and quality jazz evenings, in the chic and cozy atmosphere of its Chiquette restaurant.

Benjamin Bobenrieth has chosen, with this trio, a return to his roots with a gypsy jazz trio formula, an iconic formula of the style he particularly likes.

He is surrounded by a solid rhythm section composed of Mario Da Silva on guitar and Vincent Hemery on double bass around a repertoire that mixes gypsy jazz standards, personal compositions and some rearrangements of pop and contemporary jazz classics that he particularly likes (Prince, Chick Corea, Roy Hargrove, Pat Metheny...).

This gypsy trio, composed of experienced musicians who have already performed in many venues and festivals throughout France and internationally, revisits here the exercise of playing in a string trio. After 2 albums recorded and signed with the famous Laborie Jazz label, including the last one, "Nahia's Soul", recorded in quintet and on electric guitar, Benjamin returns here to swing, acoustic and intimate music
