Matthieu Boré
Jazz
Matthieu Boré, also known as the ‘French Crooner’ Matthieu Boré, singer, pianist and composer, is democratising jazz, making it popular and affordable once again, while remaining high quality and generous. Blending the worlds of jazz, rock and blues, he conjures up the great standards, but also displays all his songwriting talent with his own compositions. Matthieu has a passion for New Orleans, and over the last few years has developed a repertoire of original compositions and rhythm and blues standards based around great pianist-singers such as Huey Piano Smith, Allen Toussaint and Professor Longhair. His repertoire is resolutely light and cheerful, with fabulous energy and a real sense of sharing with his audience.
