Raynald Colom Quartet — Carte Blanche

Franco-Catalan trumpeter, composer and producer Raynald Colom learned his trade with Roy Hargrove, Clark Terry and Wynton Marsalis, navigating the jazz, flamenco and pop worlds.

For his carte blanche at 38Riv, he will be offering a 4-concert retrospective of his 6 albums as a leader, accompanied by a variety of formations.

This first Thursday speaks volumes about the finesse of his program, surrounding himself with some of the nuggets of the Paris jazz scene: Carl-Henri Morriset on piano, Yoni Zelnik on double bass, and Lukmil Perez on drums.
