Drummer, composer, producer within the MiRR Collective, Benjamin Sanz has played with musicians such as David Murray, Oliver Lake, Hervé Samb or Archie Shepp.
"Black Seeds", his third repertoire in 5tet, is played exclusively for our ears before being recorded in the studio by a team of distinguished and international musicians (United States, Cuba, Italy), and having already recorded a previous album received by critics: The Escape (2021 / label MiRR).
Benjamin Sanz delivers here an introspection marked by the influence of masters of black music from Africa and the United States.
