Jazz pianist and composer, Sylvain Ransy makes the stages vibrate with his unique talent and his communicative energy. Coming from Guadeloupe, he is deeply influenced by Caribbean rhythms, which he skillfully mixes with jazz sounds, creating music rich in emotions and colors. Sylvain has collaborated with big names such as Alain Jean-Marie, Jacques Schwartz-Bart, Franck Nicolas, Aranud Dolmen, Linley Marthe, André Condouant, Calypso Rose, Rony Théophile, Tony Chasseur, Therry Vaton… while developing his own musical universe, between modern jazz and Creole traditions. His style is both technical and warm, a clever mix of groove, finesse and power. Always smiling and accessible, Sylvain Ransy brings a refreshing touch to the French and Caribbean jazz scene.
