Xt Trio

Crossing personalities, subtle blend of cultures, this trio explores various musical lands for a "Latin and dreamlike" jazz. Through original compositions (joyful sambas and soaring ballads), the group tries to mix respect for the melody, innovation, and risk-taking. The pianist's "soprano" voice gives this "French touch" trio a unique and airy sound, which is based on the flawless groove of the rhythm.
Rich in their past experiences, this trio does not forget the winks to tradition with some well-chosen arrangements of standards. Inspired among others by Tania Maria, Michel Petrucciani, E.S.T. or Chick Corea, the leader of the group (Xavier Triviaux) and his musicians (Wesley Barbé, JC Jouffre) want to transmit to the public their love of melody and rhythm, and more broadly their taste for travel and escape ....
