For Les Caribéennes de Mai, François Constantin has surreptitiously slipped some of the most prestigious exponents of West Indian groove into his cast of May jam sessions - can you find them?

For this jam dedicated to soul and Latin sounds, in the festive atmosphere so characteristic of his jam sessions, François Constantin has concocted a magical recipe to enliven this colorful evening. He's invited Thierry Vaton, a pianist with bouncing notes who puts his talent at the service of the most diverse styles and cultures, Damian Nueva, a talented bassist and double bass player who performs from Broadway to Paris and has taken part in countless eclectic projects alongside artists such as Didier Lockwood, Oum, Roberto Fonseca, John Legend, David Murray, Ayo and Gregory Privat. Internationally renowned Cuban drummer and a musician who can't be ignored on the jazz scene, Lukmil Perez has made a name for himself and a serious reputation that has seduced Charles Aznavour, Sergent Garcia, Jacky Terrason, Omar Sosa, Giovanni Mirabassi and Roberto Fonseca. But everywhere, the principle is the same: get together and improvise on a grid of chords, a theme or a rhythm. A moment from which fabulous musical moments can emerge.

More than just a concert, a jam is an opportunity to discover outstanding musicians and watch them improvise together. It's the feeling of participating in a unique moment. An hour-long concert lays the foundations and launches the evening's theme, then a jam takes us through to the end of the night.
