Revealed at the 2012 Long-Thibaud Competition and nominated in the “Instrumental Soloist Revelation” category at the 2015 Victoires de la Musique Classique awards, pianist Ismaël Margain stands out for his sensitivity and eclecticism: as a soloist, chamber musician and improviser, he is a guest at numerous French and international festivals. His recordings feature his favorite composers (Mozart, Schubert, Chopin, Fauré...) on the Aparté, b.records, and Naïve labels.
