Amargo Sextet

The ensemble is led by singer Margot Boudali and double bassist Shimon Gambourg. Strengthened by their friendship and musical complicity, they surround themselves with their instrumentalist friends to form this pocket orchestra. 

They build their repertoire around arranged standards and original compositions. Margot is a poet, and she carries the authors and her own texts with rare accuracy and commitment. Shimon composes, arranges and directs the ensemble with an iron fist in a velvet glove. Each of the soloists finds the space to express their love of jazz, their personality and their creativity.
