Following Franck Tortiller's invitation, a series of concert programs were launched, ranging from Cépage(s) to Danses de Ravel with the Quatuor Debussy. The complicity between Christophe Collette, 1st violin, co-founder and artistic director of the Quatuor Debussy, and this talented jazzman-vibraphonist-improviser-composer led to the birth of a duo for the pleasure of playing together. All that remained was to concoct a musical program, bringing together all the music that inspired them, from Stéphane Grappelli to Michel Legrand, Bach to Fauré, not forgetting musette waltzes and the blues of France! Without preconceptions, without frontiers, with candor perhaps, but with a mad desire to share these musical and friendly moments with everyone for a better world!
