Jazz à Vienne

Each year, more than 200,000 festival-goers come to meet the 1,000 artists performing on the 4 stages.

The Théâtre Antique, built in the 1st century, is the emblematic place of Jazz à Vienne. Its singular acoustics mixed with the imprint of history offers an exceptional setting for the public and the internationally renowned artists who perform there. Real mixture between modernity and ancient, sincere musical mix, the festival rich in its diversity wants to be plural and open to all.

Out of the 190 concerts offered, 3/4 are free, to be found in particular at the Jardins de Cybèle, in the after-party at the Club or on one of the numerous Jazz à Vienne events with in particular: the creation for young audiences for the 8,000 children of the metropolitan area, the national springboard ReZZo, the Academy, Jazz Ô Musée, the Caravan'Jazz, the musical readings, the film screenings and the festival off on the terraces of the cafe owners and restaurant owners of Vienne. Jazz à Vienne is jazz all the time, everywhere and for all ears.
