As part of the festival Jazz-Sur-Seine et the festival Les Caribéennes de Mai,

Three outstanding improvisers, three Caribbean jazz experts who will play everyone's songs!

Martinican musician with a powerful style and accomplished technicality, Thierry Vaton is a pianist with bouncy notes who puts his talent at the service of the most diverse styles and cultures. All the older children called on him Angélique Kidjo, Ralph Tamar, Tony Chasseur, Andy Narell, Zouk Machine ...

The world of bassist Stéphane Castry, like his project Basstry Therapy (2017), is an invitation to travel and share, in what is most groove, with assumed styles such as jazz, fusion, accents funky and caressing melodies with the accents of its island of origin Guadeloupe.

Raised in a family of musicians for three generations in Guadeloupe, he draws on a wide variety of influences and quickly develops a groove of his own, convinced that music must be decompartmentalised and that musical genres must dialogue with each other. .
