Presentation of the 9th edition of the Festival
From 9th to 24th October, Paris Jazz Club organises its traditional JAZZ SUR SEINE Festival, an authentic mix of colourful jazz culture.
The JAZZ SUR SEINE Festival is once again taking up the challenge of bringing together the emblematic jazz venues in the Ile-de-France region. Therefore, it is highlighting the incredible diversity of Parisian jazz venues, which make Paris the 2nd jazz capital in the world after New York.
20 clubs with a strong identity, from Paris and the Ile-de-France region, are ready to share more than 150 concerts. Le Baiser Salé, Le Duc des Lombards, Le Triton, Pan Piper... each with their own specificity and artistic line. Richness & diversity are the key words for this programming.
From traditional jazz to electro, from blues to latino, 450 artists will awake your senses during these two weeks of Festival. Already announced : Baptiste Herbin, Claude Tchamitchian, Steve Potts & Jobic Le Masson Trio, Emmanuel Bex, Biréli Lagrène, Ludivine Issambourg, Djazil, Henri Texier...
Finally, the Lombards street will host the emblematic Showcases evening on Tuesday 13 October, THE meeting place for professionals, aficionados or simply curious, who have come to listen to the talents of tomorrow. You will have free access to several clubs to enjoy 16 concerts.
Eager to further broaden the Jazz audience, the Festival maintains its pricing policy (3-concerts pass - 40€, discovery offer - 10€).
Promotional offer : take your 3-concerts pass and have a 20% price's reduction on the menu "dinner-spectcale" at Petit Journal Saint-Michel, and a 50% price's reduction on the concert at Maison de la Radio, in the festival's program. Please contact the Paris Jazz Club team to enjoy this offer.
